How do I improve my appearance, I feel that when I go out strangers often make fun of how I look and I’m also curious on why i always never receive compliments. I wonder how people perceive my current look right now and honestly I just want advice to help me improve without being too harsh and also no sugarcoating please.

Idk what to do with my hair, it keeps getting frizzy after putting in gels and creams. This usually keeps happening especially now in the summer when the humidity is bad. What products do you think will help me.
