Revision Surgery Coming Up

Revision Surgery Coming Up

-Put a NSFW just in case it bothers anyone-

In 2022 I had double incision top surgery in Mississippi (where I’m originally from). I was dysphoric out my ass and desperate and at the time, even though he didn’t see trans people normally, he made me feel confident he could give me what I needed. Well I gave it time and let my chest fully heal and after a year was like ok I have to get this fixed. I still have just as much dysphoria as I did lol and I just feel ugly. 4 years later, next week I’m having my revision with Dr. CV Chegireddy in Atlanta. I went through so many consults and have been so picky and this is who I made the decision to go with. I’m honestly so excited, but so nervous to do this again. Anyway I’m attaching a picture of what my chest looks like now and I’ll come back with an updated post of the result! Positivity would help a lot. Thanks!

Herniated Disc 23 M

Hey everyone I’m feeling pretty defeated and it’s affecting my mental health. I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease 2 years ago and just did pt which helps so much but it gets to be so expensive I can’t do it long. I’m stiff and painful every single day. I tht I was having a flare up and ended up in the ER and I now have a herniated disc in L5-S1 they said was mild but I’m in so much pain I’m just in tears. My only relief is laying down. I see my specialist on Wednesday bc that’s the soonest they have and I’m just scared. I don’t want to have surgery but I also don’t want my life to be like this forever. I’m feeling so defeated and could just use some support.

Big move!

Hey everyone, me and my fiance are moving to Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh) area due to work. We are a gay couple and have lived in Mississippi our entire lives so this is brand new to us. 24 & 27 We are really looking forward to being somewhere more diverse and being more accepted. Obviously not being from there there’s a little bit of anxiety and fear due to this being so different for us. Any recommendations on good suburbs or areas to live that aren’t crazy expensive. We plan on renting a house there before buying a new home to get a feel for things. I love out door recreation and we would prefer not to be in the middle of the city but also not to far. Having a sense of community is important to us. Thanks for any feedback. Thanks yall

Edit: thanks to everyone who is reaching out and giving us different options. this move is gonna be very life changing for us in many ways especially with having little to no support as a lgbt couple here in Mississippi. This is making it a little easier!
