the textbook definition of feminism is a “socio-political movement that aim to define and establish the political, economic, personal, and social equalities of the sexes”.

It is not just about equal rights to men and women. It’s about fighting all kinds of oppression regardless of gender.

Not all kinds of feminism ticks the box. Like,
white feminism: Doesn’t talk about race, class oppression
savarna feminism: Doesn’t talk about caste based oppression
Liberal feminism: Doesn’t really include poor, working-class women
Gender-critical feminism: Doesn’t include trans-women
Girlboss feminism: encourages capitalism

Capitalism, Casteism, Racism, Classism, every form of oppression is rooted in patriarchy. Feeling superior over other people because of your birth, color of your skin, economic status, etc etc all comes from patriarchal mindset.

If you call yourself a feminist but feel superior over other people because of your caste, skin color, the amount of money you have, your job, YOU ARE NOT A FEMINIST.

As far as I know, the only feminism types that include all oppressed people and is against all kinds of oppressions and patriarchy as a whole are Intersectional Feminism and Radical feminism. Please let me know if there are other types !!

ever since I came abroad for my masters I’ve been suffering from anxiety-induced diarrhea. Literally anything and everything triggers it. small test? need to use the washroom. finals? need to use the washroom. got ready for some plans outside? need to use the washroom. If it’s only happening when I eat outside food I would’ve stopped eating junk but no, with most basic of the basic homemade food also the same is happening. I’ve graduated a year ago and ever since looking for a job so I was staying at home so it didn’t bother me much.

But now I started working this week and it’s still happening. I can’t go to the washroom frequently cause I work in manufacturing and it’s atleast a 5 minute walk every time and I cannot afford to take that long breaks! I literally skipped both breakfast and lunch to see if it stops but bloody still have to use the washroom😭😭😭

Looked online and found we can find over the counter medicine (loperamide (Imodium A-D)). Does anyone use it?! Does it work?! Will there be any side effects?!

Literally any advice is very much appreciated🫶🏽

What level of comprehension skills does one have to watch the movie and think, “oh no, poor bear has to suffer nikki’s toxicity” or “bear victim blah blah” bear is a R@PIST INCEL WHO ROBBED NIKKI OF HER BODILY AUTONOMY and didn’t even listen when nikki literally asked him to off her. And he went to his other female friend behind her back and tried to gaslight everyone that she is “going through something very bad”, You are the very bad that happened to her.

And I think the maker of the movie didn’t do a very good job in what kind of message he’s trying to give. I think it should’ve been about the horror nikki went through of being snatched from her body. But it’s all about bear, what bear does? how bear felt? it’s like bear directed the movie.

Bear is the fcking villain!!!!

I’m looking for roles in the manufacturing sector and almost all of the screening calls only include questions about whether I'm willing to relocate, if I'm good with the salary they're offering, if I'd need a visa sponsorship, and my self-intro, my work exp, my strengths blah blah blah
And at the end when I ask questions like what quality tools they use most, what the work culture on the floor is like and all, the HR operations people who are doing the initial interview are not at all knowledgeable about that stuff. So what else could I be asking?!
