I want to terminate but now it might be ectopic?
I’m just wondering if anyone has been in the same situation as me and what the outcome was. Or anything that helped ease your mind at the time.
I had a positive pregnancy test on June 14. I asked my OB for a termination. Had my appointment with her on June 22 and I mention the left sided pelvic pain I’d been experiencing that started 2 days prior. She said she couldn’t give me the medication until we did an ultrasound to confirm location. She sent me to the emergency department where I was scanned and they found an intrauterine sac with no yolk sac or fetal pole ( because so early I was 5 weeks 2 days at that point.) I was then send for hcg testing. I went on Tuesday and my hcg was 2273 and again on Thursday it was 3138 so only a 38 percent increase instead of the expected 100 percent. She’s requested another ultrasound on Monday to either confirm failing intrauterine pregnancy or continue the search for ectopic.
All day today I have had very noticeable left sided pain it’s was coming and going and has now been constant for the last 6 hours or so. It’s not excruciating but it’s enough that I took a Tylenol 3 and am still uncomfortable. My shoulder does have a twinge of pain but I have two small children who I need to pack around and shoulder pain isn’t uncommon. The pelvic pain also isn’t something I can find to touch? If I poke my belly I can’t seem to find the “omg that hurts there” source of pain. I should also mention I have no bleeding. I just want it out and it’s been a circus of events trying to get that done
