Help grieving pup
Our kelpie was killed infront of us today by a reckless driver who was speeding and driving all over the road, they didnt stop. The event has traumatised not only myself, my husband, our 10 year old son; but also our shihtzu puppy (3.5 months old) as we were all there during the event.
We took Twilite-Sparkle home and buried her, letting our cat and pup say goodbye so they know she is no longer here.
Wolfgang has been crying on and off all day, very clingy ( to the point of not wanting to be put down or taken outside to the toilet)
I'm calling up our sons psychologist tomorrow to get an emergency appointment during the week to help navigate this as i am concerned for him especially as he has disabilities and she twilite was his support dog, but would love advice on anything I could do to help him.
Is there anything I can do to help our puppy other than cuddles. I dont want to do anything that will cause long term negative effects.
