Weight Loss on SSRI

Hi! I am just shy of 5 months postpartum with my second, and my kids are 16 months apart. I’ve had a crazy couple years, and my first birth experience was traumatic and I developed pretty bad PPD. That said, I did manage to lose a good chunk of weight in the 8 months after my first (I was not on any meds at the time), and was about 8 lbs shy of my pre pregnancy weight when I found out I was pregnant with my second.
During my second pregnancy I was put on Zoloft and it has helped me a lot but I have a hunch it is preventing me from losing weight the way I did after my first. I exercise 4-5 days a week (weight training or some kind of cardio like running or biking) and I eat a pescatarian diet. I don’t calorie count because I am breastfeeding but I do make very intentional choices. My weight hasn’t budged more than 5 lbs since I gave birth and sometimes I feel like I still look pregnant. It makes me depressed sometimes and I am wondering if anyone here has similar experience and/or any advice? TIA!!

i’ve cracked

i think (hope!!!) i’ve reached peak 2under2 brain mush 🫠.
this evening, shortly after my husband had returned from work, i was giving our 20 month old dinner and he took our 4 month old, who was hungry. i was also trying to clean up toys etc before bedtime routines, and the youngest was fussing while waiting for her bottle to warm. my husband asked if i could grab a pacifier and in my tornado state i ran over, paci in hand, and… put it in his mouth. i didn’t even realize what i had done until i noticed he was laughing hysterically. he thought i did it to be funny! i put my baby’s pacifier in my husbands mouth!!!! i am losing it!! time for bed!!!! good luck to you all!

Crib Arrangements

Hi! So I have a 20 month old boy and a 4 month old girl. We live in a 3 bedroom apartment, but the third bedroom is more of an office with a Murphy bed (not an option for a kids’ room). So, that said, eventually our kids will share a room. We are planning to sleep train the youngest pretty soon and once she is sleeping through the night, we’d like to move her from our room and her and her brother would share a room. It’s not a massive room by any means but it CAN fit two standard sized cribs but we cannot decide what the best arrangement would be. Would it be better to have them opposite each other or next to each other? Could they bond more if they’re next to each other? Would it be more beneficial if each kid was given a “side” of the room? I realize a lot of this is very dependent on each kids’ temperament but I am just curious what you all have experienced and if you have any tips!

I should probably add that my oldest sleeps through the night (except for an occasional night in which I will need to help him find one of the many pacifiers he’s ejected from his crib)!
