Do you like the base game maps?

Does anyone else like/prefer the base game maps? I really think that FS25 really brought some very nice maps to the game. Riverbend is probably the best, small US map in my opinion. And, I think Kinlaig is superb! I’m really looking forward to seeing what this new South American map is going to be like.

Being on console, I would prefer to use my limited free space for mods like tractors or productions or things like that. There are some nice looking mod maps, don’t get me wrong. But, oftentimes for me anyway they can be buggy. And, having to download 10+ required mods seems crazy. Just curious if anyone else feels the same.

Windscreen recommendations.

I’m a little tall, 6’4” (193cm) and I’m having issues on foggy mountain mornings where I live. So, when it’s really foggy the condensation from the fog builds up on the outside of my visor making it very difficult to see. I have tried various remedies to get the water to bead up and roll off to no avail. I think the problem is that the stock windscreen is just way too short for me. Anybody else around my height that could recommend a tall windscreen that might solve the issue? Thanks!

Question about break-in.

So I just bought a new 2026 DCT (happy Father’s Day to me 😁). Obviously, I was excited and put about 125 miles on it Sunday before I read the manual. The manual says to ride it conservatively during the break-in period. But, Sundays ride got a little spirited. Did I just make a huge, costly mistake that will affect the longevity of the engine? Thanks for your input.
