I’ve done some reading and hear mixed reviews on 21” rims on an A5 B9. I’ve been looking for a set of Rotors for a while and a set of 21” popped up in my area, but is that going to make the ride really harsh and will any pothole ruin them? Current riding on factory 19”. I’m just about to lower it, IE lowering springs are in the mail.
I was finally able to get out at a sunset. Pluggin away at getting better at photography. But obviously still got room to learn.
Decided to take the feedback from my original post and attempt to re-shoot it. Evening golden hour is tough for me to get out, so morning it was. Probably earlier still would have given an better result. Front 3/4 was one feedback given, but I had to do rear 3/4 as there was a huge pile of trash that would have been unavoidable in the background with the front shot. Lower angle and golden hour was the most commented on the original post. Sharing publicly but still not over joyed at the result. thanks community.
I’ve always loved the Peak wheels, and the Rotors. Had been convinced I was going to put Peaks on my “new” car when I bought it. The RS5 Rotor has been the fallback. Then I came across the Split 5 Spoke “flag” wheel on FB Marketplace and suddenly they’re taking the lead.
That’s another question, does it make sense to move from the OEM black optics 19” to a 20”? Visually the 20’s look so much better but what about ride quality?
