The worst training I’ve ever experienced.
I am making this post to complain about how bad the “drivers academy” is in Austin (DAU2)
First, I was told the schedule was 8 to 3 in our email. Perfect. Gives me time for my doctors appointment. 3 comes and I ask when we are leaving and I’m told 4:30. Huh? I end up having to leave at 3 because I can’t miss the appointment I had, and I’m told I have to reschedule the entire day.
I come in the next day and redo everything with a different trainer (who didn’t verify everything was finished, all they do is sit at the podium playing with a laptop)
The next day, I come in and I’m told I have to leave because I didn’t finish a lesson from yesterday, I asked if I could just do it and I’m told I have to reschedule. It was raining outside so I tried to call my DSP and I’m told I have to leave the facility, so I was forced to go outside in the rain to figure out what’s going to happen.
This has got to be the worse experience with any job I’ve ever had, and I have a CDL so I’ve had numerous driving jobs. This one takes the cake.
Make sure yall lick the treads in the boots super clean 🫶🏼 this job is not for me.
