I used to get perms

In the 70s my grandmother gave me perms! I don’t know how I didn’t know I already had curly hair. I still struggle with it - it takes longer than I would like to get it to where I like it! I have never found the holy grail of any product. I just used some cheap gel my husband brought on vacation and it looks as good as the $40 gel I buy. I struggle with feeling curly hair is not “professional” I want longer hair but then the curl is not as good. I am jealous of everyone with silky perfect coils. Anyway you all know the struggle!

If I’m supposed to post products, then I used the conditioner I found at the Vrbo and my husband‘s gel which is Woody’s for men mega firm gel

Paying off my daughter’s loans

My daughter has $49,000 in school loans. She makes $64K as a social worker in a for profit hospice company. She made 5 payments on the SAVE plan before they stopped taking payments.

We sold a piece of property and want to help her out by paying off the loans. My SIL said we shouldn’t do that because they will eventually be forgiven or if a Democrat gets in office they may be forgiven sooner.

So should we help her pay them for awhile in hopes of that or just pay them off? No one knows the future. She wants to buy a house and considering her salary, I think that large debt could hinder ability to get a mortgage.
