My cat (around 2years old) whom we got a few months ago has recently started just going to the bathroom wherever. When we first got him he was perfectly fine using the litter box. The past couple of weeks there has been poo in the laundry sink (a few times some when there was already clothes and boxes in it) he has peed on my bed, my mums bed, my sisters bed and in multiple boxes of linen. He has peed on the carpet, in fruit boxes (fruit still inside) and probably many other areas we have yet to find (the whole house smells like a barnyard). He has also been getting progressively stinky, I believe he has rolled in the litter box as he smells like pee and sometimes patches of his fur are wet and smell disgusting. It’s getting worse. Just then my sister heard him pooping and discovered what is in the picture above. He is not an outdoor cat so we think the grass/straw is from one of our Guinea pig cages. I’m incredibly concerned about him, and we are calling the vet first thing tomorrow but I’m just wondering if there’s anything I should do/can do for him. Other than all of that, he is still a very sweet and cuddly boy, just so so stinky. Thank you
