Hello seniors and fellows
As I've scored 85.6% in HS (WBCHSE) , i think I can secure both Jaipuria and AJC Bose for B.com hons.
I'm currently studying for CSEET (CS) so i which college will be better for me ?Jaipuria (Evening) or AJC Bose (Day)
How's the attendence scene and overall of Jaipuria Evening ?
Guys I'm preparing preference list What are the timings of Maulana Azad College ? I mean do they have Evening or Morning shifts ?
Just passed HS with 86% in Commerce, and I’ve decided to pursue B.Com along with CS in Kolkata. I’m considering colleges like Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration (though it may be difficult for me), Jaipuria College, Scottish Church College, and Bhaggu. (Not considering St. Xavier's College Kolkata because I didn’t have Mathematics in Class 12.)
Since this will be my first time living outside home in and for years, I’m a bit confused:
One of my relatives has a flat in New Town, and I’m thinking about staying there. How is the area overall? I know New Town and Salt Lake are major tech and developing hubs of Kolkata, but my father feels New Town isn’t completely safe and that crime happens there.
What are the average monthly living expenses for a student in Kolkata?
Any other good government college suggestions for B.Com in Kolkata?
We are organizing an independent art exhibition and workshop from 13–15 May at Suri Sahitya Parishad to create a space for local and emerging artists to showcase their work and connect with people through art.
This initiative is being managed mostly by students and young artists, and we are currently trying to manage the remaining costs for exhibition setup, printing, display arrangements and workshop activities.
If anyone would like to support this initiative, even a small contribution — ₹50, ₹100 or any amount — would genuinely mean a lot to us and help us make this event possible.
Thank you for supporting local art and young artists. ❤️ (qr for donation is attached at 3rd pic)
