I got to catch another!

Only handled him because there were about three brown thrashers ganging up on him and he was backed against our facility. Postured and stared but didn’t bother trying to strike. Probably too tired from digesting his meal. Camera quality isn’t great, but he was a very cute fella.

Caught one last year, probably about 5’ in length (only handled because that one got inside our facility), this guy was smaller- 3’ maximum, I’d say.

Bird feeding at a (nonpolluted) industrial site?

I’d like to set up a bird feeder at my workplace. We have a number of species present- aside from the small birds I have trouble identifying, we have brown thrashers, mockingbirds, grackles, cardinals, and American robins. The site is in a relatively forested area, with small gardens on-site. Based on these birds, and the possible others given the area (central VA), what seed mix would be suggested?

(Do not worry about potential pollution status, my primary interest is frogs and based on the extremely healthy frog population/variety on-site, the facility isn’t putting out any harmful level of pollutants.)

A warning.

There is a poster going around various subreddits currently with a picture of a backyard full of dyed-pink chicks. He has visited animalid and ornithology with the question ‘why are these chickens pink’.

OP is either ragebaiting or delusional, and refuses to believe the chicks were dyed pink despite it not being possible for chickens to be born fluorescent pink. OP is not just denying any answers to explain what is going on, this user will actively insult those who try to tell them why the chickens are pink. It’s funny as hell to look at the posts they’ve already made, but do not engage if they post here.

Mods can delete this when they want, just wanted to give a heads up.
