why is my real 4 digits credit card number shown on apple pay receipt

To be clear, I know my apple pay virtual number for this card, and it has been shown on all my in-person transaction receipt for years (i scan save all my paper receipts)

But today I just used my phone as usual in a mall, and I noticed my real card number shown on the receipt.

I am sure it is apple pay, my credit card app showed it is apple pay, apple wallet also showed the transaction as normal

is this possible? Thanks!

update: I was using Amex card on a, I believe, square terminal. Someone in this thread had a similar experience. It might have been transferred back by the network as a reference for the convenience of merchant.

which brand has reliable gps reception?

my use case might be a little unusual. but I mainly use dashcam for tracking my travel for fun, think it as a poorman's go pro. so i care about gps a bit more with reliability

I have been using a viofo a229 for a year and it has been rock solid except gps, i can count with one hand the times they worked and there are quite a few internet posts of similar issue. (and of coz i dont have heated window blahblah)

so i am looking for an alternative. gps is rarely anything mentioned in reviews. any recommendation? thanks

We saw a new dentist a month ago (old dentist sold his practice) and the claim has been pending ever since.

I called inusrance today and they said it is pending because they need to know who the treating doctor is, and asked me to contact my provider to contact them. I was confused and asked why dont they contact them directly since they had the claim, they said they dont know if it was the wrong doctor to contact so they had to ask me to do it. Also I will receive a mail regarding this too

I am a bit confused here... never heard my own insurance contacting me for provider information... is this normal?

Thanks!
