The BIFL should mean something which could stand the test of time with their top notch build quality. But discussions are most around some average product somehow surviving couple of years beyond their expectations. The mods should curate discourse around those topic which fits the criteria, not BIF few years. Or the irony is that there’s no product in Indian market by local manufacturers which can be deemed as BIFL?

Rename it to Buy It for Life few years
