Looking to repair and identify this pendant

For context, this pendant was originally on a necklace given to me around 13~ years ago. In the first, third, and fourth pictures, there is a clear break in what used to be a loop that the necklace’s cord went through.

I have two main questions regarding this pendant: ⁠

  1. How could I repair this pendant? I do not have the missing piece of the pendant and was wondering what kind of specialist I would consult, as I’ve seen a jeweler and they couldn’t help me. The ideal situation would be for the missing piece to be remade and reattached to the pendant, but I’m not sure if that’s possible.

  2. In the second image, there’s a signature on the pendant. If you recognize or are able to read it, please let me know what it says.
