Opinions on stand up or lay down wood back stock
Between projects and thinking about building a wood rack along a wall to lay down back stock. Anyone have an opinion? Or is standing stock ok...

I like my machine. But...
I think I would have to think hard next time if I knew how much time I have just plain wasted over the past year not having a manual for the machine and for carbide create.
At this point it has become the sole reason I don't use it as much as I might.
I've wanted to do some things and just the complete lack of info on settings and such in carbide create just makes me walk away.
I think carbide 3D needs to take a hard look at how much customer support time they waste without even a basic manual as well.
Got BP mid-late March. Recovered 95ish percent in 3 weeks. Did the rendesevir and steroids. (Meh)
About 10 days ago (early July) and progressing it has returned... But on the opposite side of my race. Some pain, but much less than the first time. Not doing steroids, but did have a CAT scan (nothing).
Dr. Wants blood and MRI now. I'm considering not. Other than being Mr. Drooly and eye issues... I really am more pissed off than anything.
Has anyone that has had it multiple times ever had it appear on the opposite side?
Bought this nice mortise and tenon stool for a few bucks at a thrift store the other day. It's a little loose, but I figured I could tighten it up and use it in the shop. I think I paid $8 for it.
Got it home and started really looking at it... It's hardwood, but the tenons are PAINTED on!! I feel cheated. But now I want to remake it...lol
Does anyone have any audiophile or fancy gear to listen to opera with... I've got this in the corner of my shop and 500+ operas on CD in the office. Speakers up high in both metalwork room and in the woodwork room.
Bought the 6 gallon Stealthsonic DeWalt shop vac today to replace a Bauer screaming banshee shop vac.
I'm stunned... The noise is gone. I can hear. It's like night and day.
All the sound is at the end of the hose. It's honestly stunning the difference.
$75 at Lowes.
If you're on the fence, do it. Best thing I've ever bought to improve my shapeoko and the standard of life in the shop.
