Financial aid is a mess

Tutiton is due today and I have to receive the pell grant for the fafsa that was processed in APRIL, have even updated to have my ssn match and name match and wtv else I need and all the responses I've gotten for this is "we never got a fafsa for that year"

Def can't pay the 700 dollars i need by the 6th, I wanna just let the enrollment cancel but I'm unsure if im finna get kicked out since summer 2026 is my starting term

What do I do or am I just cooked

Edit: comments finally loaded so id like to add that I did do noth 25-26 and 26-27 fafsa, they only had 26-27 for me and all calls after that post were something like "yeah we don't see that, but 26-27-"

Edit 2: did this yesterday (July 1st) but I filed for fafsa loans as that seems like the only option atp. Hoping for them to find that too

Is emailing a professor to resevre a spot in their class allowed?

for one of my classes i want to enroll in conflicts with sls+, but since the ap scores for pre calc have yet to come out there is a chance that i would be taken out of the step program and have no need for sls+

am i allowed to email a professor to reserve a spot since the class enrollment wont let me as it conflicts with that time?

City states/ independent powers need more world interaction

Never seen this mentioned, but I've never seen city states (civ 6) or independent powers (civ 7) do much with each other without the influence of a major civ

Idk if im just not historically fluent but that seems really weird, especially early game where you're on equal footing with them

This is really prevalent in civ 7, where independent powers just ignore each other and wait to be picked up by a player before doing anything. At least in civ 6 you might see them defending against barbarians and/or some trade routes

Id really like a huge independent powers specific update where they have some diplomacy with each other (like an aggressive independent powers attacking other independent powers/city states, maybe some simple building/economy and being an independent city state if left alone the past era and more)
