Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox on the Bengals’ Most Promising Building Block Entering 2026: Amarius Mims, who allowed zero sacks and posted a 76.6 PFF run-blocking grade from Weeks 12-18 last year.

A lot of folks outside of our fandom like to dump on the Bengals offensive line, but I think that It will be one of the most underrated units next year.

Since allowing 7 ER against the Mets on June 17 in his last 3 starts here are Lodolo’s numbers: 15.0 Innings Pitched, 1 Earned Run, 14 Strikeouts, 0.60 ERA

[@JoeTipton] Michigan freshman Lincoln Cosby is staying at Michigan despite Dusty May’s departure, he told @Rivals. The 6-9 forward was a top-50 overall recruit in the 2026 class.

Glad to see another young player stay. Once he’s back from his ACL injury hopefully he can be an impact player for us. He’s certainly got the talent for it.

Nice to see a bit of the old TJ Friedl today: 2/3 with a homer and 2 RBIs. Also of note, Jose Trevino also went 3/4 with a HR and Sal hit one as well.

Also, per @RedsDaily4 on X, Sal Stewart’s first-inning home run came off a 102.3 MPH fastball — the fastest pitch by a starting pitcher to ever be hit for a home run in the Statcast era (since 2015).

[@UnderdogMLB] Status alert: Dane Myers carted off the field Monday following this play.

Sending some good thoughts to Dane after this play.

But in all seriousness the hell did he catch that?

MICHIGAN IS THE ONLY SCHOOL IN THE COUNTRY TO HAVE A PLAYER SELECTED IN EACH OF THE 2026 NBA, NFL AND NHL DRAFTS

It has been a great time to be a Wolverine fan this past year, we’ve seen a ton of great teams and players. I still personally think Yaxel Lendeborg was the most fun to watch given his background and what he was able to accomplish at Michigan.

Mara is a close second after how he was rotting on the bench at UCLA and became a lottery pick for us.

Eugenio Suarez launches a bomb on the Reds last strike to get a series win over the Pirates!

Suarez had been struggling in June but this was a clutch homer and just like that the Reds have taken a series on the road against a division opponent.

Hats off also to Jose Trevino for his big day as well as Chase Petty for his first MLB save!

This evening the Reds bullpen pitched 3.2 scoreless innings. In their last 45 innings pitched they are 5th in ERA (2.98) 4th in hits allowed (31) and 5th in k/bb ratio (6.7) during that span.

The bullpen, despite the injuries, has had a great turnaround these past few weeks.

4 runs off Skenes and a Noelvi Marte home run later the Reds take game 1 against the Pirates!

Another surprisingly great job by the bullpen, allowing zero runs in 3.2 innings to help win a great one on the road.

Any time you can win a game against Paul Skenes, who has owned us, it’s a good day.

This rare division win was a long time coming.

Spencer Steer with a 2-run shot to pull the Reds within a run

Would love to break the Brewer’s curse over this team and take one, especially with their bullpen down a few arms.

It was a power surge at Great American Ballpark with home runs from Eugenio Suarez (2, to go along with 6 RBIs) and JJ Bleday to supplement a great outing from Chase Burns and some solid work by the bullpen to preserve the shutout.

Over his last 7 games, Noelvi Marte is slashing .318/.348/.636 and has 2 home runs to go along with 2 RBIs.

He is getting his chance for redemption and he’s answering the call so far. Might not be mind blowing numbers but he is trending in the right direction for sure.

Blake Dunn had 3 more hits today and is now slashing .306/.352/.447 in 85 at bats this season.

In his last four games he is hitting .444 and is one of the more pleasant surprises on the year for the Reds.

It was another rough one today but if there is any way to find some positives, now is the time.

Chase Petty’s final line tonight: 6 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 7 K

Not a bad outing for Petty, and we need all the pitchers we can get, so hopefully he keeps up the good work.

Tony Santillan chucks a pitch right down broadway and not surprisingly it is crushed yet again. That is now 9 HR allowed in just 23 innings.

That’s to go with a 6.65 ERA as well

Spencer Steer helped will this Reds team to victory tonight, along with Benson, Abbott, and a pretty decent effort from the bullpen. And since May 1, Steer is slashing .312/.381/.450 with 4 HR, 13 RBI, and 24 runs.

With Elly out and Suarez still working back from injury, Steer will have to carry a lot of the load at the dish, and he answered the call tonight that is for sure.
