Isn’t this just the cost of doing business? Also, let’s say you want to pass this on to your customers… shouldn’t this be clearly called out on the menu (or at least on the check before you pay?

Apparently we are now expected to subsidize not only employee benefits, but also the restaurant’s ability to retain staff? Why are customers funding a business’ staffing strategy?
