MMO with huge Roleplaying community [NOT FF14]

I can't return to ff14 for personal, painful reasons. But I really miss the community there, interacting with people & building small stories together with OCs. But I don't know what game would fill that niche for me when ff14 was the pinnacle for me.

WOW? ESO? I've played ESO to endgame but I don't feel like continuing it. WOW would be very fresh & new to me but unsure where to begin if I want to experience older stories & locations like ff14 & ESO allows for. Second Life is...let's just not go there, lol. I'd rather wait for GW3 for a new clean slate than try GW2 again. I don't want forced PVP at all. Sub isn't an issue but I have to be careful with gachas/Pay-to-win games

I know, I know, I'm likely being picky & these are likely my only real options if I'm not going back to ff14 but I'll hear out suggestions even if they're non-mmo.

Seeking lesser known RPGs + hours of playtime

I feel like I've played almost every major RPG out there, so I' like to try the more hidden gems! On that note, even if they're bit better known - that I can spend hours & hours in would be great too! I can't play mmos much these days due to financial reasons so I'm seeking out that itch constantly. JRPGs & CRPGs are both fine! Older games are fine too!

My consoles are ps5, nintendo switch 2 & laptop PC! [that can play bg3, wow!] - i've been a longtime rpg enjoyer haha

bonus but not mandatory
1. Customizable characters

2. Lore rich environment to get lost in - exploring, finding pieces of books, npcs, etc [Elder scrolls great for this]

3. Crafting - it's something I loved out of FFxiv & fantasy life especially the cooking!

4. Companions that have great depth to them [again love FFxiv for this, BG3, Mass Effect, the Tales series, & dragon age to name a few]

games I have played & enjoyed: Elder Scrolls, FFxiv [just this game only, have not played the series as whole], Mass Effect, dragon age, Tyranny, divinity Orginal Sin, Pillars of Eternity, Fallout, BG3, Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Symphonia, Tales of Abyss, Tales of Vesperia, Paper Mario, Super Mario RPG

games I've liked for the story/setting but eventually felt like more work just to keep up/finish than fun: Witcher, Fantasy Life, GW2, ESO

games I just kept bouncing off: dragon's dogma, BOTW/TOTK, Fallout 76

thanks in advance!

trying to complete couple of playlist challenge races

so I'm trying to finish some of the motorsports challenges so i can unlock the final cosmetics but two races seem bugged - I finish within the time limit, I'm using the right car yet they don't complete

the challenges are 'Alpha Story' and 'Alpha Bully' - do I need to raise the difficulty to 2 or more to make them count or are they just broken in general?

If I use GoFundme to pay for dental stuff, will I lose my disability?

so like I am looking at HUUUUGGE bill an I'm feeling anxious bout it, we know our insurance given by ssi doesn't cover dental so I am wondering if I started a gofundme to cover dental costs, would I be immediately kicked off my insurance? The fear of that is making me grit my teeth and just hopefully work out payment plan terms to get the work done however long it may be ughhhh
