Tips for PIH?

Hi! I’m 11 days post microneedling with VAMP serum. This was my first time getting it done. The deepest they went was 1.0mm on my scars. During the initial recovery my entire face got super dry, flakey, and peeled off within the first week. However on day 7 the skin around my mouth started getting darker and extremely flakey. Luckily no burning or irritation. My dermatologist said it’s PIH and my skin barrier was probably damaged beforehand. I didn’t know about tyrosine inhibitors before either /: My skin is sensitive to HA and burns when I use it so she’s recommending I avoid anything except for a strict regimen of gentle cleanser, cicaplast cream, and aquaphor over the flakey spots. Any advice on what to do to help with the hyperpigmentation? I was excited to finally hop on microneedling but I’m starting to lose hope and regretting my decision….

CAD check pls!

Just got my first CAD! Inspo pics included. Planning on doing a 3ct old mine cut stone, does it seem like it has good structure? Or should I opt for a cathedral setting instead? I really do like the design of the split shank into the prongs/basket but appreciate any thoughts or concerns!

Ring sizing help!

Does this ring look like it fits well? The ring in the video is a size 6. My engagement ring is currently in the CAD process, and I’ve been back and forth between size 5.75 or 6.

The video is me wearing the size 6 ring midday after eating salty food in the morning lol. It fits looser in the morning. The weather where I live right now isn’t super hot right now and doesn’t really get that hot in general. I wore it a few months ago to a wedding when the weather was colder and it fit looser to the point I was worried it would come off. It spins around at the base of my finger a bit but never goes past my knuckle. The ring does comes off pretty easily with a little bit of resistance. My e-ring will have a 3ct stone on it so I don’t want it to spin sideways too much. I feel pretty comfy with the size 6 and was originally going to do that, but the jeweler and my friends say I should go down in size, whereas my mom and partner say I should stick with 6. I do plan on wearing it with a band when we get married but haven’t gotten to try one out yet. I bought a ring sizer and the 6 fits pretty loosely, but that band is super thin and fits differently than the size 6 ring in the video. Unfortunately it doesn’t have 5.75 but the 5.5 fits pretty snug, too snug for my comfort though haha. So that’s why I was going to compromise for 5.75.

Is it better to size up for my e-ring? I’ve heard it’s better to resize a ring down rather than resize it bigger later on. Any advice appreciated - thanks!
