My marigold leaves are growing purple splotches

I’ve looked through other posts but I don’t see any marigold leaves that are looking exactly like mine. I got these seedlings for free from a neighbourhood group and I have no idea what variety they are. When I planted them they were all green. I know the purple could be from too hot/cold, not enough phosphorus, too much water, fungal disease or they just look like that. But which is it??

I found a three-legged spider on the floor of my room with two detached legs beside it. What should I do?

I thought it was dead and was about to discard it. To my surprise, it was alive and is still moving. Should I put it in a corner of my house and let it be? What are its chances of survival?
