Waterfalls of Ratnagiri
Traveling for the weekend today and tomorrow. Any hidden, untouched waterfall which might be active at this point in time?
Or suggest any untouched, unexplored places where we can go for small hikes and waterfalls

Hey r/mangalore,
I'm a 28M solo traveler down here in Mangaluru for a very brief visit. I only have tomorrow (Saturday) to explore, and I’ll be flying back out on Monday morning. Since the monsoons are setting in beautifully, I am planning a road trip tomorrow to head out inland and chase some waterfalls!
The Plan:
Where: Looking to head towards Beltangady / Paladka side to check out spots like Ermai Falls, Arbhi Falls, and Gundyadka falls.
The Ride: I’ve got my Maruti Ignis ready for the drive.
Timeline: Want to leave early tomorrow morning to make the most of the day, do some light trekking/exploring, grab some local food (definitely down for a solid evening dosa/ghee roast), and head back by evening.
Cost: it's on me
About Me:
I’m a pretty chilled-out, laid-back person who absolutely loves exploring natural spaces, hiking, and catching good views.
Who I'm looking for:
Whether you're a local who knows the routes well or a fellow traveler who happens to be around—as long as you love nature, don't mind a bit of monsoon rain, enjoy a good road trip playlist, and bring a relaxed vibe, you're welcome to jump in! (Can comfortably fit 2–3 people).
If you're free tomorrow and want to spend the day surrounded by green hills and rushing water, drop a comment or slide into my DMs with a bit about yourself.
Let's exchange socials, make sure we vibe, and figure out a pickup spot!
Cheers! ☕⛰️
Want to gift my parents a quick health/detox experience for their 40th anniversary. Looking for either a 1-day immersive daycare package or a 2-night weekend getaway within Delhi NCR.
I'm currently looking at Naad Wellness (Sonipat) and Balaji Naturecure (Bakhtawarpur). Naad looks super premium/luxury, while Balaji seems more traditional and core nature-cure.
Has anyone sent their parents to either of these? How was the comfort, food, and overall experience for senior citizens?
Also open to any other highly-rated wellness centers or day-clinics closer to West Delhi. Budget is flexible, just want them to feel well taken care of. Thanks!
Hey everyone,
I’m planning a one-way road trip from Delhi to Mumbai, rolling out around June 5th (Friday evening) or June 6th (Saturday morning). I’m looking for 1 or 2 chilled-out co-travelers to split the journey, share fuel/toll costs, and take turns behind the wheel (if you drive!).
The Ride: I’ll be driving a Maruti Suzuki Brezza VXI (Petrol). It’s in great shape, fully serviced, comfortable, and reliable for the highway.
Tlhe Plan (The "Work & Drive" Split):
Here’s the catch: I am a remote working professional. I might not ot drive during standard business hours (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays). Because of this, this won't be a crazy 24-hour non-stop sprint. We will be stretching the journey over 4 to 5 days to keep things safe, relaxed, and productive.
By starting on the weekend (June 5/6), we can crush the massive driving blocks (like getting deep into Rajasthan or Gujarat) while we are completely off the clock. On the weekdays, our routine will look like this:
Early Morning:Hit the road by 5:00 AM to cover 250–300 km before the workday begins.
Daytime (10 AM - 5 PM): Park ourselves at comfortable hostels or cafes with solid Wi-Fi/5G connectivity in major city hubs. I’ll be logged into work, and you can work, explore the local area, or just chill.
Evening: A short evening drive (if required) to hit our next secure night stop. Absolutely no sketchy late-night driving.
Proposed Route & Safe Night Stops:
Delhi \\rightarrow Jaipur \\rightarrow Udaipur \\rightarrow Ahmedabad \\rightarrow Surat \\rightarrow Mumbai. Sticking entirely to the safest, heavily trafficked hybrid route (NE-4 and NH-48) with secure overnight stays.
Who I’m looking for:
*Fellow remote working professionals who want to work-from-anywhere during the day, OR travelers who just prefer a slower, scenic, and safer pace.
* Responsible, sorted, and clean travelers.
* Having a valid driver’s license and solid highway driving experience is a massive plus so we can rotate, but it's not a dealbreaker if you're a great navigator and conversationalist.
If you’re looking to get to Mumbai around that time, want to experience an epic road trip across three states, and want to avoid a boring flight, drop me a DM! Let's connect, verify profiles/LinkedIn to make sure the vibes match, and finalize the blueprint.
Cheers!
