20mg dose for the first month.

90lb Female starting Accutane next month at 20mg. I don’t have acne all the time, it’s hormonal and mainly closed comedones and cystic acne. My derm. said after the first month on 20 , if I’m not having bad side effects she can up me to 40 and titrate me up from there. I feel like being 90lb I don’t want to go more than 20-40 - and she said I need to be on it for about 9 months. Those who are around my weight, is that about the dosage and length of time you were on it?

Colosseum tickets

Traveling to Rome last minute September 9-13. Looking to buy tickets to the colosseum but I’m largely overwhelmed by the amount of options. Any suggestions? Would’ve LOVED to do the underground tour, but they’re sold out on the official website and I’ve heard to stay away from 3rd party sites. Is that accurate? TYIA.

Weird question..

Those who have stayed at Hotel Lucchesi in Florence, I’m debating between a premium vs superior room (5. Sept - 9. Sept). The superior rooms have a view whereas the premium does not. It’s about a $700 total different, view vs no view.

Can anyone give me any insight as to if it’s worth it or not LOL. I’m trying to save $ where I can here, but also don’t want to miss out on something if it’s really worth it. I guess it’s a personal preference, but any opinions would be appreciated!!

Strict conflicts check

I’m a 5th year paralegal with an offer to a national firm where I’ll be working in the tri-state area as an insurance defense paralegal. They are requesting a conflicts check from me, which I have provided, and they’re denying my submission due to being too “vague”. I put “n/a” for a lot of it, as the majority of my legal career (all 5 years!!), has been in trust & estates, so primarily doing estate planning rather than litigation work that could flag as a conflict of interest with my new firm, which is an insurance defense firm.

I’m becoming very frustrated as they are requesting what cases I worked on at my one and only insurance defense job a few years back, where I was mainly obtaining and organizing medical records, authorizations, basic stuff. I reached out to my supervisor from that role where he was very surprised that they at requesting that info from me, esp considering my minimal contributions to hands on material with the cases - and he said he’s never heard of a paralegal (presumably just ones with my minimum career), needing to provide such info.

Am I the only one who finds it’s wildly unnecessary to be this strict and thorough with wanting this information when I really have limited information to provide??

Traveling to Tuscany

I will be staying in Florence on September 5-9 and would like to take a day trip to Pisa and Tuscany villas. The only tours I see are 12+ hours long, and I fear may not fully be what I am looking for. I am considering getting a car service to take us to Tuscany, then purchase a vespa tour to explore the areas, and then book our own winery tour + lunch and then head to Pisa. Do you recommend I just do the already built tour, or am I better off creating my own itinerary? Any advice would be appreciated!

Hotel Principe - should I change it?

Hearing mixed reviews now after doing my own research and booking Hotel Principe. I’m only staying there in September3-5 , so I don’t need that luxurious of a hotel. Should I find one more centrally located?

** In Venice!

Excursions and transportation assistance needed!

Hello! My boyfriend and I are taking a last minute, 10 day trip to Italy this coming September and I am STRESSED! I just booked all of our hotels and now it is time for the more fun part of it, booking transportation and excursions.

VENICE: Water tax from airport to hotel- worth it? What is the average cost? It is just us two, and I got a quote of $275, which I feel is astronomical. If it's the average cost and a great experience, then I guess I will indulge!

6 month old HORNY puppy is driving me insane!

My STB 7 month old puppy humps his plush bed like crazy, and then have FULL boners (which I didn’t think was even possible with pups) .. is this normal and will it end soon? It not only grosses me out, but it’s constant humping which is annoying! Love him to death but I can’t deal with this lol. Signed, a stressed Momma.

New puppy mom guilt going back to work

So my partner and I got a pup when we both had fully remote WFH jobs and shortly afterwards both unfortunately got unexpectedly laid off (very bad timing).

He quickly found a job that requires he be in the office 4 days a week, which made me eager to find something fully remote again. I’ve now received an offer for a job requiring 3 days in office attendance.

It’s only been about 3 weeks since I was laid off, so I’m torn on declining the offer until I find something fully remote, but I risk the chance of never finding something then losing out on an opportunity.

Who here works (mostly) full time in an office and has a floof at home? I feel so guilty having to do it but I know sooo many people do it :(
