Percussion WIP work

Hello Composers,

I am currently writing a work for percussion ensemble and celesta (opt. subbed for keyboard glockenspiel or electronics for sound projection), and am looking for some feedback.

The work is in a minimalist style, inspired by phase music.

There may be some engraving inconsistencies as I haven't fully combed through yet.

Be as harsh as you wish, especially percussionists if there are any lurking. Just don't tell me to start over ;-;. I also haven't thought of a good title yet, if anyone has any ideas, please share.

Thank you all.

Looking to transition to jazz

I've been learning classical saxophone essentially the entire time I've been playing, and I've become a technically proficient player, but I want to move to jazz so I can get some work.

I've been playing in a local jazz band for awhile, and I can sort of improvise (sometimes I do in gigs), but I'm looking to up my skills.

Other than getting a teacher (working on it), what else can I do to improve jazz skills?

Hello UWA students

I'm in high school atm and am considering doing music composition at uni.

Can Anyone in the BMus course (or even anyone doing music units), ideally composition, tell me what it's like and your experience in the course? (Work load, opportunities, staff) etc.

Thank you
