how to study subjects

I want to study Chemistry, Physics, and Maths completely from scratch, but I don't actually know how to approach studying them.

Whenever I open the Cambridge syllabus and the textbook, I get confused because the topics don't seem to be in the best learning order. so I don't know where to begin.

I'm looking for a proper roadmap or study order that starts from the absolute basics and gradually builds up to the full O Level syllabus. I also don't know what the best way to study each topic is should I watch YouTube lectures first, read the textbook, make notes, solve topical questions, or do something else?

If anyone has gone from zero to a strong understanding of these subjects, I'd really appreciate any advice on:

  • Good free resources (especially YouTube channels).
  • An effective study method that actually works.
  • How to know when I'm ready to move on to the next topic.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

which one has more resources and is better

Im deciding between Zainematics and Mathlete by Saad for IGCSE 0580.

I want to study entirely for free using YouTube.

  • Have both of them covered the complete syllabus, including every topic and exam detail, on YouTube?
  • Or are there topics that are only available in their paid courses?
  • Which teacher explains concepts better from the ground up?
  • Which one is better for someone who wants to learn the entire course from scratch and score an A*?
  • If you've studied from either (or both), which would you recommend and why?

please answer it is very important for me

Summer vacation oppurtunites

I'm currently in O1 (Cambridge O Levels) and I'm looking for good extracurricular opportunities to build my profile for university. I'm open to pretty much anything, whether it's Olympiads, MUNs, competitions, internships, summer programs, research opportunities, leadership programs, volunteering, phtography competitions , hackathons, or campus ambassador roles.

I'm based in Pakistan but I'm also interested in international opportunities that are open to high school students. If you know any websites, organizations, or programs that regularly offer these opportunities, or if you've participated in something you'd genuinely recommend, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

isl or lgs jt which is better for o levels

which school is better for o levels

I'm trying to decide between LGS JT and ISL , and I'd really appreciate hearing from people who have studied at either school (or know someone who has).

I'm looking for honest opinions on things like:

  • Academics – Which school has better teaching, exam preparation, and overall academic results?
  • Teachers – Are they supportive and knowledgeable? Do they actually help students understand concepts?
  • Workload – Which school has a better balance between studies and student life?
  • Extracurricular activities – Sports, robotics, MUNs, debating, student councils, clubs, community service, events, etc.
  • Basketball and sports – Which school has the stronger sports culture and better facilities?
  • School environment – Is it competitive, friendly, or overly stressful?
  • University admissions – Which school has a better track record for admissions to universities in Pakistan and abroad?
  • Student life – How is the overall experience? Is the school enjoyable, or is it mostly focused on academics?
  • Facilities – Campus, labs, library, sports facilities, cafeteria, etc.

If you've attended either school, I'd love to hear about your personal experience:

  • What did you like the most?
  • What were the biggest downsides?
  • If you had the choice again, would you still pick the same school?

Finally, if you had to choose between LGS JT and ISL today, which one would you recommend, and why?

imp Need advice on how I should use my summer vacation for math

Need advice on how I should use my summer vacation for math

I'm thinking of spending my summer vacation improving my math, but I'm not sure which approach is better.

Option 1:
Take the Zainematics 3-month crash course (July–September).

The only downside is that once school starts in August, I'll have to dedicate around 1.5 hours every day to the course, on top of school homework, tests, and assignments. I'm worried it might become overwhelming.

Option 2:
Study a few chapters on my own during the summer, while also giving time to my other subjects, and then continue learning at my school's pace once classes start.

Some context:

  • My math isn't very strong.
  • Preparing for one math test usually takes me about the same amount of time that I would spend studying for three other subjects combined.
  • I want to improve in math, but I also don't want to neglect my other subjects or burn myself out once school starts.
  • I am in o1

I also want some guidance is this course actually good or should i stick to his youtube videos

If you've been in a similar situation, which option would you recommend? Is it worth committing to the crash course, or would it be better to build a solid foundation over the summer and then follow along with school?
