What to look for

I recently started commuting around 100 miles per day, great timing with fuel prices right?? So..... I'm looking the gen2 Volt and there are a couple for sale locally. Is there a way to tell how much life is left in the battery? Is it miles based or is the battery not always being drawn from? I can inspect a gas vehicle pretty decent and do a lot of my own maintenance but I'm new to the hybrid world any advice to find on as reliable as possible is appreciated!

Looking at a 3.0 Duramax

I’m interested in this , would be my first diesel, what are some things to look for and maintenance I should check if it was done, etc, on a duramax with that many miles? I like the price but doing due diligence. Thanks!

I’m looking at getting a 3.0 Duramax truck, I see people reporting high mpg like around 30 highway and have a work commute that’s a lot of 55-65 mpg areas, the windows sticker shows 26 highway and 3.23 gears, they should be the highway gear not max tow application right? Just checking. Thanks!
