Will Breakpoint get similar difficulty sliders in September like the recent Wildlands update?
Badly needed, would be a game changer for Breakpoint, Wildlands has retaken the lead with the recent update..
Wildlands Update Bottom Line
I have been playing both Wildlands and Breakpoint since they released. I always thought Wildlands was amazing until Breakpoint came out, and then the 60fps, weapon customization, and gear options made me prefer Breakpoint for a very long time. The things that Wildlands needed to become the better game were finally mostly addressed with this latest update. 60fps upgrade, enemy customization (essentially built in mods) that now allow you to customize enemy health, damage, awareness, QRF response levels, as well as allowing the turning off of some very annoying HUD elements that took away immersion, etc, has been a massive improvement.
Literally it has made Wildlands become almost the perfect game. Now you can set the enemies in the world to a realistic level where gunfights and playing sloppy actually have consequences, and you will die quickly. You can turn off all of the HUD garbage, allow for instant death, and have realistic ammo that vanishes if you change mags before empty.
Now, there are a number of bugs, most glaringly on ps5 the enemy awareness sound (the bongo drums that play any time an enemy is looking at you) is still present in the game with no way to turn off, even with all HUD off and indicators off which is a bug that needs a patch, also the helmet glitch where the game defaults to mono nv goggles every time you try to customize your character. Another bug is the enemy mortars still show the bright red circle zones that let you know exactly where mortars are landing, even when you have all alerts turned off…
