Hello everyone! I moved here about a year ago and have been with optimum home Internet. In the last couple of months, I have experience a lot of outages Internet drops hiccup it being down here and there and I am just getting really over it even though the price is great, but I think I have more down days than then ups. I live on 76th St. between 18 and 19th Ave. is there any other home Internet service providers around here that is reliable? I tried looking up Verizon and apparently strangely they don’t offer fios here. They only do the home Internet for 25mpbs. Spectrum is not available. Astounded is not available. T-Mobile home Internet is not available. Did I move to a really bad spot of Brooklyn that just doesn’t have any other service providers aside from optimum?

Hi. I recently moved to Bensonhurst 18th Ave and 77th street. What I did not anticipate was that there’s no fios service here. I had no choice but to sign up for Optimum.
It was fine for the first couple of months and then all came down hill. Internet constantly dropping. Worst case was this past month, two major outage. The first one happened 30 days ago. No staff support, no one ever knows what’s happening, and worst is that they try to sell you upgrade plans while they look up my account. It happened again today.
I am so sick of this.
I’ve been using Verizon fios at my old house ever since it was first introduced. Reliable, stable. There are some hiccups every now and then, but it gets fixed almost immediately.
Verizon, if you’re seeing this, please bring fios service here. We desperately need another service

I live in Bensonhurst Brooklyn/ 77th street. The internet went out two hours ago. Called optimum, not surprised, they have no idea what’s happening. Giving me the same AI response. Same thing happened last month! I’m so sick of it. Why isn’t there Verizon fios here!?
