The girl who friend zoned me couple of years back sent this text outta now where

We studied together in the same school as well as in the same college. We used to chat a lot like non stop for days. I was interested in her and slightly hinted at her. She then made it clear that we are nothing more than friends. I respected her decision, didn't make a fuss about it, and slowly reduced the amount of conversations. Since the beginning of this year (as a new year's resolution) I completely stopped texting her (stopped giving her any sort of attention) and moved on with my life.

A couple of days back, all of a sudden out of nowhere she texted me this. And before seeing my reply she unfollowed me. I don't have any idea on what I did to piss her off

Somewhat Sambavam in Lift - Had a moment (not clickbait)...... update

Ok... Just to clarify. For the last post ellarum Enna veluthu vaangiteenga Sambavam enga da nu, konjam peru Enna "Creep" nu kooda soneenga. Pathathathuku DM la vera vanthu kaluvi oothuninga. I honestly didn't expect that to go that big...na nenechen etho naalu Peru paaka poranga , rendu Peru comment pannuvanga nu.

You-all expected a big "Sambavam" sorry antha alavuku feel aagathathuku. For me athu periya Sambavam ah thonichu. Ungala clickbait pannanum ngrathu ennoda intention eh illa.

So now that's out of the way, here's the update on that:

This happened right this evening (Friday) as usual coming back from the office, I came a little early so I waited near the lift to at least get a glimpse of her. After about 10 minutes she came and I made it seem like I just arrived there. Wearing a white chudi walking with her red handbag just like a red cherry on a snowflake ❄️ We made eye contact. She smiled, I was able see her dilated pupils. We went in the lift and the doors slowly closed. While at the lift I was really nervous and was thinking of some openings to start a convo. I was really unsure because neenga ellam antha girl's pov la irunthu paatha creepy ah irukum sonneenga, athu vera mind la. Then suddenly my phone rang, my ringtone is the Rolex entry bgm from Vikram (violin version). It was my friend, I attended the call but wasn't able to hear him as I was inside the lift, so I cut the call. She, who was standing slightly behind me on my left side asked me, "Tamil ah?" (In Abu Dhabi btw). I replied, "aama neengaluma?". She said, "alla njan Kerala", I replied, "athu sheri, naatil evade?" She said she was from Trivandrum and then suddenly the lift opened and we were at our floor. I thought it would be better if I stopped the convo so I said, "ok it was nice to meet you bye," and I initiated a handshake, she shook my hands and asked, "unga per enna?" in that malayalam accent, it was really cute. We introduced ourselves and where we work and all. Then she said bye but just as she was about to go I asked whether I could get her Instagram, she nodded and now we follow each other.

Please don't come at me. Neenga expect panra alavuku periya Sambavam ah nu therla. But I can just write what happened I can't exaggerate anything. So please go easy on me.

Sambavam in Lift; Had a moment :)

So I live in a 15 storey building. The timing Gods are trying to set me up with this girl.

About a week ago:

I was walking on the footpath approaching my building from my office and then I laid eyes on this girl who was coming straight opposite. We made eye contact and the girl gave me a suspicious look. Surprisingly she entered my building. So it seemed like I was following her and she became incredibly suspicious and on high alert. When we approached the lift she waited for me to go in first. (She thought if she went first and pressed the floor button I would know which floor she resides in) I went first and pressed 11 then she entered and looked at the button I pressed and started sweating 🥵 because she's also going there. The doors of the lift closed. She felt kinda awkward (idk enaku paakum bothu apdi thonichu) The floor came, she went left and I went right.

Next day:

She went in first, I saw her go in the building as I was approaching. She went to the lift and when it was about to close.. I said "please hold" . She held the lift for me but at the exact moment I was about to enter the doors started to close and I was about to be crushed as it hit both my arms. She panicked and pressed the open button and profusely apologized. I said," it's ok don't worry" and we went.

Following Sunday:

It was a holiday. In the evening, I got ready to go outside and was waiting for the lift. I heard a door open on my right side and I saw her coming out with a handbag, coming towards the lift. We made eye contact. She smiled...not with her mouth but with her eyes. I initiated a Convo through a "Hi" , she heard but she didn't reply, she just saw me again and smiled with her eyes. Na oru second confuse aagiten, hi thaane sonnom? Ava kaathula aai nu vilunthucho nu. We went in the lift and the entire ride till the ground floor was awkward. But when we reached Gf she turned, looked at me and said "bye" and went. Never saw her again.

Concern regarding the safety of rides in Aquaventure theme park

Just before Eid, my friend and I visited the Aquaventure water Park. We were waiting in line in order to get on a group ride (like the one in the picture).

A young teenage girl with her little sister (probably around 5-6 years old) who was in front of us got in the ride. Since it's a ride for 4, the staff asked me and my friend to join them. We asked whether it's ok for them if we both join. They agreed but the little one was quite hesitant 😂 I totally understand cause we both are young brown men in our 20s. But eventually her sister convinced her.

The 4 of us sat in the raft as shown in the picture. The little girl sat to my right, the young teenager to my left and my friend straight opposite. The staff pushed the raft, the ride began.

At one point in the ride, there was a steep drop followed immediately by a steep elevated rise with a curvy top. The little girl lost her grip on the drop, seeing this I grabbed her arm and helped her to hold on to the support. And then at the rise, the little girl lost both of her grips and was about to fly off the raft. Like she was literally in mid air. Thank God I was able to catch her arm mid air and pulled her down. I didn't let go of her arms till the ride finished. I can see she was shivering and held my hands tightly throughout the rest of the ride.

At the end we got out, she came running towards me, gave a hug and thanked me for helping her with the cutest ever smile. I asked if she was ok... before she could answer her mom came and grabbed her.

That was an experience.

On a serious note, I personally think that the parents are at fault here for sending her to a ride like that without adult supervision. I also think that the park should have had age restrictions in some of the rides. Glad to know you guys' take on this.

Got Rejected by a Potential Match Because I Have No Property in My Name

I turned 27 last month and since then my parents have started to look for alliances. This is the 3rd girl. Got her through mutual relatives. Her parents, brother and uncle met my dad outside in a brief meeting.

They enquired my dad, not about me and what I do but how much property I own in my name, land, houses and vehicles. Obviously I don't own anything in my name. As soon as they started to make this sound like a business deal my dad stepped back but for courtesy he stayed there till the end of the conversation. My dad said that I don't own anything by my name but highlighted the fact that I have a stable decent paying job and a promising career ahead of me. But they insisted on properties as a 'security'. Like that's a minimum guarantee if I lose my job.

I have a sister who just turned 21 and they asked, "veetla ponna vachutu yen paiyanuku paakuringa?" My dad replied that she's just too young that's why

And then they asked, "paiyanuku problem onnum illa la" in the lines of do I have any physical shortcomings

Then they indirectly said something along the lines of "ithu seri pattu varathu" and went. That's the criteria, they didn't ask for my name, my photo or anything. Just properties.

Should've bought a plot Before looking for a Bride, apparently. My Character wasn't the problem, My Asset Portfolio Was...

Movie of the year right here... because wtf did I just watch

What I liked about the movie was the minimalism. The way they played with lights, the color grading and the shots. This movie wouldn't have worked out without this set of actors especially Inde...(Deserves an Oscar for this performance). The way she showed all her range in this one single movie is exceptional. The gore, the disgust, the eerieness, the unsettling are played at the right tone, they didn't overdo anything. Sudden manners in which the film caught me off guard were truly unbelievable.

I would definitely rethink my choice to get married and have a wife../s just because of this movie

Lust really creeps up on you

I haven't masturbated for a while now (it's been months) but it's not that easy. I'm fighting really hard against the urge.

You think you're alright, you're clear and suddenly a questionable reel pops up and boom now you get the urge, the itching bruh.. months of fasting was about to be ruined by a single reel.

It's like...left shoulder la Satan ninutu "hmm Pannu, nalla feel irukum, oruka panna thappilla" nu solra maathiri iruku and on the right shoulder la oru angel silent ah disappointment la thala kuninju nikura maari oru feel.

Bro... Spiritual battle is REAL. The devil knows my weakness and attacks accordingly la.
