If you could win any EV up to $80k, what's your pick?

The mods gave us permission to share this.

ChesedChicago is running its annual charity raffle and the grand prize is winner's choice of any new EV up to $80,000 or $50,000 cash.

Which got us thinking: if you had an $80,000 EV budget right now, what are you actually driving home? Rivian R2? Lucid Gravity? Tesla Model Y? Something else?

Curious where this community lands with so many good options out there these days.

All proceeds go to ChesedChicago, a Chicago nonprofit that's been around since the 1980s running food and clothing pantries, job placement, and over 80 other programs focused on helping people get back on their feet.

Happy to answer any questions about the raffle. Link below if you want to learn more:

If you could choose any EV under $80k today, would you still pick the Rivian R2?

I have permission from the mods to share this.

ChesedChicago is holding its annual charity raffle, and this year's grand prize is the winner's choice of any new EV up to $80,000 or $50,000 cash.

Since this community knows Rivians better than anyone, curious what you'd actually pick if you won. Still the R2, or something else?

All proceeds benefit ChesedChicago, a nonprofit that has been serving the Chicago area since the 1980s. Through more than 80 programs and services, including a food pantry, clothing pantry, job placement assistance, and help navigating government benefit programs, the organization focuses on helping people get back on their feet rather than relying long term on assistance.

Happy to answer any questions about how the raffle works or about ChesedChicago.
