Was Altamont completely stupid?
Like if you raise the stage three feet and enact barriers a few feet away from the stage, I don't think any of it happens

I gather there are a lot of Brits on this forum, and it seems like the class system is more locked-in and instinctual over there. Like people can sniff you out and pigeonhole you based on your grammar or whatever. Also you have fewer minorities, so you had to come up with a finicky way of stratifying white people. Nevertheless, the American class system is real, and this is my best attempt at defining it:
Owners
Blue-State Aristocracy (New York Times subscribers)
Red-State Aristocracy (Car dealers, wealthy farmers)
Precariat (wage slaves)
Lumpen (unemployed meth enthusiasts)
I thought I'd compile a list of brilliant, dark, complicated and/or sinister chonkers.
Charles Laughton, Alfred Hitchcock, Henry VIII, Orson Welles, John Wayne Gacy, Marlon Brando, Armitage Trail, The Notorious B.I.G., Tom "Pig Champion" Roberts, help me out
