Invoices, bookkeeping, payroll, vendor paperwork, approvals, chasing documents, cash flow tracking, whatever it is.

Bookkeepers: what's the thing you have to double-check the most because you're worried it might not be legitimate?

I'm trying to better understand what accounting and bookkeeping professionals actually deal with in the real world.

What's the most common thing you find yourself stopping to verify before trusting it?

Could be invoices, payment requests, bank account changes, vendor requests, emails, or something else entirely.

How often does it happen, and what do you usually do to verify it? Appreciate any insights.
