Asking Keytrade what they want for approving a Gold VISA card?

My request was rejected, and the customer service explained that the department in charge is not required to justify their decision, and does not take calls to discuss this.

Admittedly, I only recently opened the account and don't have much on it. But my "public" financial profile is solid (savings, investments, zero debt, good salary, etc).

Based on my research, there is really no consensus on what Keytrade really wants to approve this card.

My question: what can I do? How can I learn directly from them what I'm supposed to do? Perhaps receiving my salary on their account would be a start?

Thank you in advance for your opinions :)

What's beyond ETFs?

I've invested quite a bit on SPYY, and I'm about to reach the ceiling I had in mind for this specific item. I've read that it would be a good idea to diversify by coupling my worldwide ETF with bonds (perhaps European ones). But I don't have yet enough information to decide on how to proceed.

What did you do when you told yourself "I can't put everything only on this one thing"?

Thanks :)

EDIT: Thank you for all the replies pointing out that an ETF is "not one thing": I'm aware of it :) My point was more about considering other tools to be coupled with my SPYY.

I don't know if ChatGPT is giving me good printing advice (for a big investment)...

I'm currently researching how to print an artwork called 'Cherry and Maple Trees' (by Sakai Hōitsu).

I can find online (mostly on Etsy) very large canvas reproducing this work - up to 90x40 inches (or 228x100 cm). And apparently they're prints of good quality (costumers seem happy).

But I'd still prefer to prepare and print the image "by myself" for three reasons:

  1. It'd cost less (probably/hopefully);
  2. The actual size is up to me;
  3. I could make sure the image used is of high quality (and not a stretched-out mess).

The final goal is to hang a print of very nice quality (around 150cm on the long side), suited for the style of this artwork (so no glass or metal, but instead wood or similar), without breaking the bank (around $250 tops).

So what I did is downloading the image from the museum, give it a 6x AI resolution treatment, and looked around the net to understand how to better proceed.

With gazillion opinions floating around, I've asked ChatGPT for a sum-up. And while certainly useful, I'd like to double-check these suggestions with a human...

I'd greatly appreciate your opinion (and counter-suggestions) on this!

I'm currently looking to buy a printed canvas of an artwork called 'Cherry and Maple Trees' (by Sakai Hōitsu).

I can find online (mostly on Etsy) very large canvas reproducing this work - up to 90x40 inches (or 228x100 cm). And apparently they're prints of good quality (costumers seem happy).

The thing that shocks me is that the biggest image I can find of this artwork - image made available by the Museum itself hosting it (it's public domain) - is very small in size (less than 3Mb).

So my question is: how can an Etsy seller print such a large canvas from such a small image, while preserving the image's quality? Is it all AI? If so, how did they do it before? Do they get access to a secret stash of high-resolutions pictures (even for the ones already legally free like my artwork)?

Thank you in advance to help me understand :)

Towards the end of the movie (mild spoilers I guess), our hero Frank Drebin is held at gunpoint by the rich bad guy. This is the exchange in which I feel I'm missing a joke.

  • Bad Guy: "By this time tomorrow, I'll be hunting rhino in Botswana. What do you think of that, Drebin?"
  • Frank: "Well, you certainly seem to be in touch with your anger".

Probably you need to know the movie to explain this, so I hope another fan of this series will come to the rescue :)

Thank you very much in advance!
