Im getting bites on my sandy andy 13cm but no matter when i try to set the hook its like the fish never actually have the hook in their mouth like they are only getting the tail of my lure , are the fish too small or do i just suck?

8 species crossed of the catch list!
Gave the harbour a bash with micro fishing and it payed off big time! Caught 30+ little fellas over around a 6hr fishing trip . Ide also already caught pollock but the young ones still look deadly.

Lovely lil 4 pounder on the liffey
Biggest pike ive caught so far , was targeting trout and perch on a 0.8-5g rod with 4lbs fluoro , best fight ive had off a fish so far too!
Safely released back into the water :).

Lions head mark
