Songs that feel fantastical/magical but with darker themes?

Hi all! I'm writing a dark fantasy/horror story, and I am looking for a VERY specific type of music to listen to while I write. I don't know how to describe the sound, so I've linked a song that has the same instrumental sound I'm looking for. But the problem is this album was written for a children's story, so I want music like this that covers darker more mature themes. It doesn't have to be in English. I am super open just looking for the vibe.

This is the song. I've also included some images to match the vibe I'm going for in my story that I'm trying to mimic with the music.

Thanks in advance, y'all! :)

ETA: I forgot to mention I want vocals in the song. I do not write well to instrumental, for whatever reason.

My wife writes really good books she hasn't published yet and now I'm in fandoms of JUST ME

I need to get this off my chest and I have no clue what subreddit to throw this in so. I'm gassing up my wife. This one seems fitting enough.

A year ago, my (28MEnby/FTM) wife (30F) realized she wanted to be a writer. Her first short story (roughly 200 pages) she wrote was a GREAT story, but nothing to write home about grammar/structure-wise. She wrote that in a few months. Since then, however, she has written two full novels, and I have had the pleasure of reading both (the first several months ago, and the most recent one I finished literally today).

Ugh.

Oh my god y'all.

Both EXCELLENT horror stories--well written, enticing, hidden meaning, DEEPER meaning undisclosed that I get BTS being married to the author, ugh. You name it. Her writing has exponentially grown since she first began this endeavor (I have a Bachelor's in Linguistics, so I like to think I know a thing or two about the topic lol.) The second, which I finished reading today, was a horror/love story that absolutely ripped my heart out.

But ONLY I HAVE READ IT.

I have no fanfiction, no "fix-it" fics. Nothing. Just me and my heartbreak, and all my wife does is giggle and go "yeah" when I tell her she broke my heart!!!

She has reached out to an agent, waiting to hear back atm. One day, I'm going to come back to this subreddit with a link to her book and tell all y'all to go read it.

Until then, I'll wallow in self pity because my wife is an incredibly talented author and I have to suffer through a REALLY good story and be sad that my ship didn't make it through brutal circumstances without any fandom to help me through it. No YouTube or Tiktok edits. Just my OWN LONELY HEARTBREAK! 😭😭😭
