An update on the Grand Rapids parking situation
Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids held their inaugural event last night. MLive was on the scene to interview concertgoers about their parking experience, as it has been a hot topic locally.
The general consensus seems to be, make a plan ahead of time. Many parking ramps are now selling online reservations so just showing up isn’t reliable. Then again, some folks in the coverage say you can just show up, like they did… at 4 pm for a concert where the headliner went onstage at 9:30 pm.
The coverage also skimmed over the fact that many late arrivals were frantically looking for spots. And there is no coverage of how the post-show process went.
For those of you heading to Grand Rapids for the DMB show, be prepared.
