Is it possible this is asbestos? I think it’s rare in cavities but I was expecting my walls (just moved house) to be poly beads so this took me by surprise and made me panic.

Berkshire (south), house is 1971 but I guess could be any year since if blown in.

Pic shows it in the end of a 16mm plastic pipe it collected in. Very light and fluffy.

Cavity wall, UK, blown in presumably? Very light and fluffy. I knew the walls were filled when I bought the house but I had assumed polystyrene beads as that’s pretty much the only one I know!
