Just watching the last couple of episodes of season 6. It just crossed my mind that these places must need visas to get into. Do the production team sort all the visa requirements without the contestants knowing, or do the contestants have an idea of which countries they’re going to but just don’t know which direction or order?

I am looking to release some capital from my portfolio. I’d like to take out about £100k.
However, I’m. It sure which property would be easiest to mortgage. Details below:
Option 1: 4 bed HMO. Apps value £500k. Income is £3k PCM. No mortgage.
Option 2: 2 Bed Flat. Appx value £475k. Income £2.2k PCM. No mortgage.
Both properties managed by agent at 8%.
The money will be used to pay off a smaller loan (£20k) from a house renovation. The rest is fun money - New car. Holidays. And other stuff. Will this impact the lenders decision?
The HMO would have a lower LTV and also has higher %age return. But I’ve heard HMO’s are more difficult to mortgage. Both properties in Scotland.
Any thoughts and comments appreciated.
