It was all dirty having been obviously stepped on and the way it looked, so filthy and downtrodden yet still managing to smile, broke my fucking heart. My teenager thought I was being cringe and insane, but I brought it home and washed it (on a heavy duty and then a sanitary cycle).

When Nadja was a kitten I thought she'd have very long fur. Her toe feathers are out of control! And she does have an extremely puffy bottle brush. But like her medium haired void brother, all the rest of her hair isn't super long. She is however the softest cat I've ever felt!
