Any Telugu folks near Manyata Tech Park? Need PG recommendations/leads!

Hoping to find a place that serves good Andhra meals or maybe connect with fellow Telugu folks who are already staying around Nagavara/Thanisandra etc (don't know any other places) .Any active leads or suggestions on specific PGs would be highly appreciated.

Anyone joining Cognizant on 25th August 2026 at Manyata, Bangalore?

Hi everyone,

I'm joining Cognizant on 25 August 2026 as a Programmer Analyst Trainee at Manyata Embassy Business Park, Bangalore.

I'm looking to connect with others who have the same DOJ or location so we can discuss onboarding, accommodation, travel, and training.

Also, I have a quick question:

  • My Background Verification is already marked as "Good to Go for onboarding."
  • I completed all my pre-joining forms, but on the portal the Pre-Joining Forms milestone still shows 1%.

Is anyone else seeing the same thing, or has your portal updated?

If you're joining on 25 August at Manyata, please comment or DM me. It would be great to connect before Day 1!

Thanks!

Can Cognizant Revoke My GenC PAT Offer Due to 2-Year Gap or 12th Compartment Pass?

Hi everyone,

I currently hold an offer from Cognizant for the GenC PAT role, and I am concerned about whether my academic history could create any issues during background verification or final onboarding.

My profile:

Passed 10th.

In Intermediate (12th), I failed one subject. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the government announced that supplementary/compartment candidates would be declared passed, and I was awarded a pass accordingly.

After Intermediate, I joined a degree course but discontinued it and later joined B.Tech, resulting in approximately a 2-year gap between Intermediate and B.Tech.

During B.Tech, I had one backlog in the 2nd semester, which I later cleared. I currently have no active backlogs and have completed my B.Tech in CSE (AI & ML).

In my Cognizant application, I mentioned only my 10th, 12th, and B.Tech education details.

My doubts are:

  1. Can the COVID-pass/compartment pass in Intermediate create any issue during Cognizant's background verification?

  2. Will the 2-year gap between Intermediate and B.Tech be a problem?

  3. Will the cleared B.Tech backlog affect my offer or onboarding?

  4. During BGV, will Cognizant verify the discontinued degree course that I attended before joining B.Tech?

  5. Has anyone with a similar profile successfully joined Cognizant GenC/PAT?

Since I already have the offer, I am mainly worried about whether any of these points could lead to offer revocation or issues during background verification. Any insights from people who have gone through Cognizant BGV would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
