Is engine charge set to 20-30% at all time the way to manage this questionable design?

Edit: To clarify why I think this could be faulty by design, since a few comments are saying that this is not normal:
Based on my research, this car has an electric A/C compressor that is only connected to the hybrid system, with no belt-driven compressor connected to the engine.

Edit 2: Car is produced 01/25, last software update was the recall on March 2025, as I have seen this software update did update a few modules and maybe a battery management module as well? But not aware of any updates happening on air control system, most likely this is not software, and not a sensor related issue because it works fine when I have battery or when I have the engine change turned on.

Trying to figure out if I should ask my dealer for an HVAC module software update, because I’m struggling to get the A/C to work consistently after the car sits in the sun on a hot day.

The A/C blows warm air instead of cold even with A/C ON, temperature set to LO, and recirculation ON.

It happens both in EV mode and with the engine running. Waiting a few minutes doesn’t seem to help, but one time I tried slowly lowering the temperature instead of going straight to LO and it seemed to make the A/C start cooling.

My assumption is that the software is not turning the compressor on at all in this situation (maybe some protection logic because of the high temperature/heat soak?), but I can’t really make sense of this behavior.

If it was a sensor issue (temperature, pressure, etc.), wouldn’t we expect some more obvious pattern or error? I’m honestly lost here and would appreciate any input from people who understand these systems or have experienced something similar.

Has anyone else had this issue? Did a software update fix it, or was it something else?

I've noticed that when I exit a curve and enter a straight road, I have to manually bring the steering back to center more than I would in other cars. Is this the steering stiction issue, or does it get worse over time and require even more manual effort?

Also, I thought the steering rack recall only affected 2024 models. Mine was built in 01/25, what steering rack revision should it have? I've read there have been 3-4 different iterations.

Problem 1:
A fee service that decides whether to add a small fee when a customer pays through a buy now pay later provider at checkout.
It hooks into the order breakdown, the charge flow, and the refund flow, so it sits right on the critical path while the customer is completing the order.

Has to be sub-second p95 and survive Black Friday. The fee depends on (market, payment method, merchant, order amount, and customer tier), and can be flat, a percentage, bucket, discounted, or zero with different currencies for each market.

It also had to be schedulable and auditable (what was the fee on this date a year ago). And to resolve one fee correctly it reads from four downstream services in the moment, all inside the latency budget.

Problem 2:
A system that generated around 3500 product catalogs out of a database of roughly a million products.

Each catalog was different and each had its own pricing logic to surface the best prices.

The whole thing took 48 hours end to end, and that was the problem, because prices move constantly.

By the time a catalog was published the prices in it were already out of date, and Google Shopping was actively flagging them as stale.
So they were stuck: the slower the generation, the more wrong the output, and at 48 hours the output was basically wrong on arrival.

They needed the full run to complete inside an hour to keep the catalogs accurate enough to be usable.

I did this E3MOM workout (15 min total):

12 forward-facing jump-over burpees

Then 3 rounds of:

3 single DB snatches (L)

3 single DB snatches (R)

3 single DB front squats (L)

3 single DB front squats (R)

I used a 15 kg dumbbell. I could do all the reps unbroken every round, so strength didn’t feel like the issue but my breathing was absolutely the limiter.

It felt like ~90% effort the whole time.

I checked my HR after:

~37% in Zone 5

~36% in Zone 4

So basically I was redlining almost the entire workout.

What’s confusing me is:

I tried to pace it

I had ~40sec rest each round

Still felt like I never really recovered

It seems like my lungs/cardio are the bottleneck more than strength.

So my question is how do I improve this kind of workout without constantly hitting Zone 5?
