After today I have never wanted to hurt someones feelings more.

I have a new boss and this dude has hated me since day one. I am a masculine lesbian and this guy, this caillou looking mf, he can make stupid ass comments to me or just straight up look me up and down and fuck his ugly ass face up at me in disgust. but the second i return that BS back I get told "YOU CANT SAY THAT TO ME. IM A SUPERVISOR 👶" apparently being called caillou or telling him his face is ugly as fuck just isnt fair. He likes to call me Justin bieber then say hiw Justin bieber is stupid and ugly (the audacity alone. I know). And constantly comments on the size i am or just how i look in general depending on what he sees me wearing (i am a basic bitch at a basic bitch height and basic ass lesbian style no idea what his pronlem is except for that hes ugly as shit)

Before it wasn't so bad because I had a different boss who i reported to who equally thought of him as caillou as well. Fast forward to the new hell for me. My boss got a promotion and caillou is now legit my boss. He has gone out of his way to target me a few times now and is now with holding my time off requests.

Today I confronted him about it as my request was for next week monday. He told me he was busy and would get to it when he can. I called him out as one of my buddys submitted the same day as me and not even 4 hours later he got his paper back saying approved( my buddy is one of our temp workers and I am a permanent employee. This union is seniority based. ) i told baby boy caillou that he approved buddys already so what's the hold up with my paper. Mine is for monday, he shoots back aggressively at me saying that he'll have it to me by friday.i told him no, im pretty sure thats not how it works, and that it honestly feels like you are power tripping over my time off requests as this is the third time you've done this now. You do not have the right to power trip over me like this. (I have severe adhd and is documented) at this point i know was in the right because his caillou eyes looked very fearful at me but repeated to me" IM BUSY 👶". I then told him whatever man go figure this is how your are going to be. Go figure. As i was walking away he tried saying my name about 3 times but in a whisper. ( all the other managers offices are attached to the same hall) but I kept walking as I knew i was going to start loosing my cool on him. However when I reached the door I slammed that bitch to let him know. "Fuck you caillou "

When it came to signing out for the day he wouldnt even show his face and every other manager or supervisor told me to have a good day 🥰.

I know i did not handle this properly but I know what he is doing is wrong and is targeting me. What have people done with this type of situation? I set up a meeting with my union rep tomorrow morning but thats all i got so far.

I have a cane corso who refuses to use my basement stairs. I have nothing but tornados in the forcast for the next month and NEED her to go downstairs when needed. What has worked for you to get your dog to use your basement stairs?

My cane corso is almost 3 years old. When she was a puppy I was able to get her to go down the basement stairs on her own a total of 2 times then every time after I unfortunately gave and would carry her downstairs as I needed her downstairs to be watched. As she grew and got heavier I now cannot lift her safely down the stairs weighing a solid 140lbs. She uses my 15 step but broken up balcony staircase everyday no problem. What can I do to encourage her to use my basement stairs?

I know lifting her as a puppy was my mistake. I can I own that. My cats use the basement as a dog free space and tornados have never been normal so I didnt really think of it as a necessity. I now very clearly see that as being wrong.

**Edit Ill be making a temporary ramp for my basement stairs for her, then turning the basement into a walkout next summer. The things we do for our corsos. Thanks a bunch for the kindness and awesome ideas. Very much appreciated 🙏

Is it common for others to pronounce words either differently or "wrong". I often get told I have an accent and get asked to repeat words because of how im pronouncing them. I recently got cognitive testing done and unfortunately i have a pretty extreme case of dyslexia and ADHD

Is it common to struggle pronouncing words with this type of learning disability? Half the words im being told i "say funny" I firmly believe thats how its pronounced and cant even prounce these words properly if my life depended on it. Theyre pretty simple words from "wong tong soup" to "apocalypse" apparently I butcher words like these. Does anyone else struggle with this and if so how did you correct your speech?

Trespassing, how do you approach this type of situation.

I had new owners buy the empty land on my street recently. They are 2 doors down from my property and since day one they have been pretty entitled to deal with. I have 2 cameras that do a 360 on tracking around my house and have so far caught the contractors coming onto my property to use outlets without permission, contractors banging on my door for no reason with a saw in hand, contractors leaving insane amounts of mud all over the road and now today they had there cabin delivered to site. No one knew this was happening and both lanes were shut down, they then park the truck and trailer with the cabin loaded directly in front of my house. The mother (new owner) then starts walking with her 2 kids and dog onto my driveway until they are about 5 feet from my front door ( i live on an acreage and my driveway is 80 feet long) she then leaves the dog with the kids and the kids start looking pretty scared as they can hear my dog trying to break down the door to see who is on her property and not leaving(cane corso) the mother then walks to the front if my fence line on the inside of mg property trying to take pictures of the cabin then walks alllllll around my front yard and then grabs her kids and gets them to follow her with the dog in my front yard. After about 8 minutes they finally leave. My wife is incredibly upset and wants me to report this for trespassing as shes had enough. Im on the fence and feel like a conversation might go somewhere however I am also not to impressed with someone being all over my yard setting off my dogs.

** edit because assuming what you think is incorrect. I was at work while this happened. Owners do not live on site currently as utilities are not hooked up

Bug spray for dogs.

What does everyone use for keeping the mosquitos off their dogs? Where I live had recieved over 300mm of rain in the last few weeks and in return we have a massive bug explosion now. My poor girl is being ambushed all over her legs the second she goes outside. Im looking for something extremely safe and bonus points if I can purchase it off amazon/temu/online somewhere. Thanks in advance everyone!

Night routines. I have been making sure my girls are on all in the coop around 10pm and shutting the coop door for the night however due to a work schedule time change the latest I would be able to check on my hens is 730pm which obviously is not late enough.

My hens are just about 4 months old now and for the most part they all habe themselves in the coop by around 9pm except for one of my girls. She insists I pet her and put her in the coop by hand. I obviously will not be able to do that once my shift changes.

My question is: if my chicken run is secure, sheltered, and i keep the chicken coop door open all night will they all be okay? I have a solar chicken coop door i plan on using but obviously im worried about locking my one girl out in the night. I keep all the food and water outside of the coop.

I know i know first world problems but I have been trying for four years now! I put a piece of cardboard at the bottom of my green bin, I add chicken poop with spruce wood shavings dog poop and food scraps, nothing is bagged! And I purposely make sure I have lots of spruce wood chippings in the top portion of my bin each pick up day. What am I doing wrong here?? 🤣 🤣

Meal worms & 4 week old chicks. My dog recently scared my chicks while they were on there 3rd day on being introduced to the chicken run by jumping on the fence.. Will meal worms encourage them back out?

Hey guys, this is my first time owning chickens and my chicks are 4 weeks old now! I recently started letting them have access to there chicken run and unfortunately on day 3 my dog ended up jumping on the run in excitement and scared the witts out of them all. They have not tried coming back outside yet and im tempted to see if this might be the right time to introduce meal worms to them as encouragement to venture back outside or will they eventually come back out on there own? I just dont want to give them meal worms to soon but I also dont want them being afraid of there chicken run as my dog will be outside with them while I am outside supervising but until shes trained better will be leashed.

Has anyone got a call from a private number claiming to be city of edmonton police saying that someone called in to complain about your driving and that they are sending you a ticket in the mail? They supplied the correct vehicle make and model but they were very aggressive the entire call.

I ended up hanging up the phone after calmly explaining that I won't be providing any info to him as this was false and I even said if he has no video evidence or proof of this that it is "he said she said" and that I can gladly supply my own evidence but he just refused and got quite aggressive which is when I hung up because who do you think you are talking to someone who pays your wage like that?

The crazy thing is that when I called EPS back to see what was actually going on they had no history of this call. I saw on yegwave recently thougg someone getting a ticket in the mail?? Is this real?

I do have dash camera thankfully and can prove nothing stated happened. But I just find very odd. Has anyone else had this happen?

Tick and flea medication. What is everyone using for tick and flea repellent for there corso. All I read is horror stories about side effects so more natural would be preferred but I do not personally know where to start.

Even if there is a mixture i can make from essential oils would be awesome.

After talking with my therapist i began to notice a pattern I do after awhile of working for the same company. It always ends up coming to an end as I will clash/fight and defend myself against unhinged/sexist/ homophobic and just down right inappropriate comments that co workers and management will make. Upon talking about this with my therapist it became known that I need to approach or deal with things differently to protect myself from them. My therapist agreed that this type of behavior is normal to hear from clients of hers that also work in male dominated trades and agrees/ can relate to this type of treatment at work is wrong and abusive.

So my question is if we all feel this way, we all see what's happening, we all notice the unfair bias dynamics that women face at work that women are expected to change and not the males creating/repeating the problems. Am I missing something? I just cant stop thinking about this.

What are others thoughts on this? I have worked in male dominate trades from power line technician, bridge engineer to now plant operator and to say that theyre all the same when it comes to how they treat women is an understatement.
