Learned they are coming in to the old Es Cafe Lounge space on North American next to Punch Buggy. Will be a great addition to the neighborhood and very happy the space is being filled by someone who will keep regular hours.

bizjournals.comYou too can get your local illegal hotel shut down.
Have been reporting this illegal Airbnb close to me for 2.5 years. After the first three failed inspections the owner got a rental license and only listed the property for rentals of 31 days+. I guess that wasn't as profitable so at some point they began accepting short term rentals again in violation of the zoning code. So I reported again and about a month after the 4th failed inspection the City posted this on the door, hopefully shutting it down for good as a short term rental since they aren't going to be able to get hotel zoning here. Irony here is that the Airbnb is owned by the President and CEO of a local non-profit that claims to care about affordable housing in the community, while owning a property that drives up housing costs.
