Anyone know if there are any currently valid UCB NY promo codes (for shows, not classes)?
I used to be able to get a big discount with a code I saw on a LinkNYC kiosk but it doesn't work anymore.
There’s a fast-casual restaurant I like to go to before work. It does most of its business through takeout so there are only maybe five tables.
In the shopping center where this restaurant is, there are two (soon to be three) other restaurants (a Smashburger and a Chipotle) both significantly bigger than this Japanese restaurant. I walked by both on my way to get food today and there was plenty of seating in both.
So tell me why, when I’m trying to find a seat, is one a-hole taking up an ENTIRE table watching a movie on his phone eating a Chipotle bowl from two doors down? (The other tables had people either eating from the teriyaki place or waiting for their order).
It’s one thing if you’re with a group of five people and three people order a ton from the restaurant and two people have takeout from Wendy’s across the street.
It’s one thing if a mom and a grandma want to eat from the teriyaki place but the kid only wants the veggie sticks from the ziploc bag in grandma’s purse.
It’s a whole other thing to take food from a restaurant with plenty of seating and bring it into a restaurant with five tables, spread your shit out, and watch a movie for 45 minutes.
I recently learned that despite the marathon shows (that is to say the non-headliners) not showing up on the DCM website, I was able to access the lineup through UCB's calendar page.
I'm trying to put together an itinerary but there are quite a few acts that do not have ANY description whatsoever. I figured I would ask about them here in the event that someone involved might be a part of them and could tell me what the deal is.
