people talk a lot about "follow you" but this whole floorwork section is SO CLUNKY AND HARD TO WATCH, i can see why christi doesn't love this solo
and this costume and song are, to quote abby, "beeeeeeyouuuuutiful" and scream paige breakthrough solo, if you ask me

apart from having the funniest freeze-frames possible, i actually liked how abby handled the whole melanie situation -- while i've heard that fans wanted haley's signature at that meet n' greet and haley had nothing to sign but the books, melanie was entirely too desperate to get on TV (she was the same way on AUDC s2 WITH KIRA AND JESS), and abby was right about not knowing who's in the audience behind you when you bad-mouth.
honorable mentions are jess calling cathy a smurfette, kira casually gossiping with the RBF Candy Apple mom, and melissa's head swinging side to side with her tongue out 💀

rewatching s1e8 and the watermelon game, and i think maddie's saying "mom, my skin's like open" here, NOT what these sneaky subtitles are leading the audience to believe.
what other times were the subtitles obviously manipulated?
while abby & gianna reused the same moves/tricks in dances, just switched them up to look different enough, both of them genuinely had a great ear for the music sometimes and choreographed to match it. drop your favorite music-specific moment that they put in!!
and mine is "please believe me when i SAY" and tea cups her hands over her mouth like she's shouting (in "no crybabies")

i rode incredicoaster on my first trip to DCA in three years on Sunday, and my first cycle (around 10am) had the soundtrack weirdly very, very low. my parents thought sensory hour causes the audio to lower, but we have no answers as to why it sucked. a ride later on (about 5pm) was better, but still not what i remember it being.
i really wish they could bring back the screamin' audio, even just for special events. i would pay a high price to experience it again.
