The vc servers tend to be a little over baring from time to time are there any good text based rp servers out there that have a decent rp community?

I haven't played in give or take 5 months and I finally have some down time, I get on and 99% of my old avis are ones u have to buy now? Are there still free avitars still or are they just crap quality?
