I’m tired of being around insane people

It’s like I blinked one day and half the world was suddenly insane. I know it’s all the propaganda and agendized media they consume that’s driving this, but I thought most people were smarter than to fall for it. Maybe it’s less about intelligence and more a lack of self reflection and honesty, I don‘t know.

I won’t bother with the nonsensical, contradicting beliefs these people hold, you probably already have heard them all. It’s not worth arguing with their beliefs and giving their rhetoric legitimacy, these crazy people just need to be de-propagandized.

Too many people have some overly strong, rabid opinion about things they know almost nothing about. If you actually know well the subject they’re talking about and inform them, at best they’ll go “Oh, well I didn’t know that,” then NOT change their views at all. ?????

Is there a mod that keeps Skyrim from hijacking your mouse on loading screens?

When you tab out of Skyrim SE on PC during a loading screen, the game won’t release your mouse pointer even in borderless mode.

I already have SSE Display Tweaks, and this doesn’t fix the problem unless I'm missing something. Is there any mod that actually works for letting you keep your mouse free?

[E] How do I know if I like statistics?

I’m currently working on a BS in math and have to choose between pure, applied, or a statistics concentration by next semester.

Somehow, I’ve made it this far with very little introduction to stats. The most relevant experience is only a few weeks of probability in a discrete math class. I liked probability a lot but have no idea if this is what upper level stats is like at all.

I’d say “just take a couple stats classes,” but unfortunately I have no room to do that.

Is there anything resource or course where you’d say “if you like this, you’ll definitely like stats”? Also, is it worth studying stats at an undergrad level at all if your aim is employability?

I just don’t want spend semesters studying something I don’t like and can’t see a career in, lol.

Thanks for any answers.
