Is there any (reading) material that updates Marxist theory for the present day and outlines a plausible transition from our current society toward an (anarcho-)communist society?

If reality is constructed by the observer, how do we know it's actually real?

If our understanding of the world is always shaped by our senses, brain, past memories, and personal experiences, how can we ever be sure that what we see and feel is truly real?

For example, we might all agree that a table is real, but all we actually experience is how our brain interprets things like light, sound, and touch. Are we really feeling the table, or is it just our brain making up what a table is?

If everyone sees the world slightly differently, then what really counts as subjective truth or reality?

Too late to ask for a place that has eclipse glasses?

I know this is super later but I was wondering if anyone knows of any places in the city that are selling them.

If a landlord is allowed to increase rent by the average salary increase + 1% then why not also set laws for companies to increase salaries yearly by a defined minimum?

How are you supposed to pay rent if your salary is stagnant? If rent is a form of income for the landlord, how are the landlords entitled to a guaranteed increase in income but not everyone else?

My girlfriend has been struggling with depression and things have not been easy for either of us these past years. I've tried very hard to be strong for both of us. Yesterday she sent me this while I was at work and it made me break down in tears a little.

I'm sorry I don't know if the artist or the source is correct but the tag says Alice Williams. I wanted to mention it.

In Superman: Red Son (2020), this is an alternate timeline story where Superman believes in Marxism, Batman in anarchism and Wonder Woman in lesbianism. However, in any timeline Lex Luthor is still a filthy capitalist.

Why do construction crews use power tools at 7AM just for 30 minutes and then make no noise for the rest of the day?

I can put up with construction work in my neighborhood (building apartment buildings for more than a year now) but what I cannot deal with anymore in this country is that they start drilling at 7AM for only 30mins and then the rest of the day is fairly quiet. Why do they not care at all about anyone else living nearby?

Are there any Reddit-like platforms out there where moderators don't have unchecked/absolute power over their communities?

While I understand that reddit will not go against their free labor mods, I just can't accept this. Are there any alternatives?

How to appeal a permanent ban from a subreddit?

Might not be the right place to ask but I cannot find any help anywhere in this platform.

I was permanently banned from a subreddit I have a genuine interest in. There was no explanation given by the mods and no information on the message on how to appeal the ban. They even muted me so I cannot message the mods.

Trying to find a way in the help center to appeal the ban just brings you around in a circle. I cannot post in r/help regarding a ban. I cannot submit an appeal because my account is not perma-banned, only banned from one sub. I cannot create a ticket with Support because there are no relevant options to pick.

I am not sure how to proceed here. Seems like a perma-ban is permanent with no way to appeal and reddit does nothing to help you if you believe this was wrong.
